Fushun Special Steel began to develop and produce titanium and titanium alloys in the 1960s, and is one of the first special steel enterprises to produce titanium alloys in China. The products such as bars, sheets and plates are widely used in cutting-edge fields, as well as chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, electric power, transportation, Marine, medical,environmental protection, construction, sports, tourism and leisure industries.

After 1980, TC4, TC6, TC10, TC11 and other materials have been developed successively, and won a number of national awards.

In 2010, Fushun Special Steel invested 450 million yuan to carry out the technical transformation of titanium alloy production line. Titanium and titanium alloy products passed the acceptance of the AQSIQ in 2011, and obtained the "titanium and titanium alloy processing products production license".

At present, Fushun Special Steel has asystematic and perfect scientific research and trial production, production organization, quality control and quality assurance system for titanium alloy,the main equipment are introduced from Germany, Austria, the United States and other countries, which is equivalent to the international level.
